The Scouting module consists of these main views
Find Players: search and find players to scout
My Scouting Lists: manage the lists of players you are scouting
My Scouting Sheets: manage the created scouting sheets of your organization
Team Roster: manage the rosters you are interested in

Player Overview: get a quick overview from all sections
Player Facts: lists player facts such as age and nationality
Analytics: shows a player profile
Statistics: shows a player's season and career statistics
Scouting: displays all scouting activities
Scouting Sheet: a report to rate a player
In the Find Players view you can search for active players. Currently the following search arguments are supported:
Position: the position of the player
Nationality: the nationality of the player
Contract: the duration of the current contract
League: the league the player is currently playing in
To scout a listed player, click on the corresponding return element which will bring you to the Player Overview View of that player.
In this view you can manage your Scouting Lists.
Scouting Lists are a way to keep track of the actively scouted players in your organization. Players can be added to multiple lists.
Currently Scouting Lists are only visible to the user who created them.
To create a new Scouting List, click on the "Create Scouting List" button.
Specify a name and optionally a description.
Scouting Lists can be editted or deleted
In this view you can manage your Scouting Sheets.
Scouting Sheets are a way to rate players. The base of a sheet is the observation of a player in a game. A sheet has an owner.
Clicking on a player will bring you to the Player Overview
Clicking on the Game will bring you to the Scouting Sheet View of that Scouting Sheet
In the Team Roster view you can:
choose a team based on a country and league parameter
load the team roster for a specific team and season
change between seasons or teams
change position details and the order of the players
add additional info in form of a short text to players
such additional info can be e.g. "27, L, 180, 86" meaning 27 years old, shoots left, height 180 cm, weight 86kg
search and place additional players
all active players are searchable
if available present contract information is displayed for searched players
The Player Overview View summarizes all information of a player. What information is available depends on the league in which the player plays and the amount of games he played. For some leagues (e.g. National League) more data is available. In case there are no information present the corresponding sections will be hidden.

The Player Facts section lists facts of the player. The section includes also a dropdown, where you can manage to which scouting lists a player is assigned to.
The section also shows on what Scouting Lists the player is currently listed.
When clicking on the Add to Scouting List dropdown, a popup appears and you can add or remove the player to / from Scouting Lists.
Lists, where the player is currently present are labeled with a tick mark.
As for most of Analytics, Player Profile = 5v5 only!
The Analytics section displays players who played a minimum amount of minutes in a league with full data coverage. The content of the section is a Player Profile with some important metrics grouped into four categories:
Overall: the combination of defensive and offensive performance
Context: the context in which the player played
Defense: defensive performance metrics
Offense: offensive performance metrics
The values show the percentile ranking of the player in the given metric in comparison to all other player in the league with the same position (d/f).
The Overall Profile shows metrics combining defense and offense.
Rel.xGF%: player impact on team performance: comparison of team performance with player on the ice - to team performance with player off the ice.
Close Rel.xGF%: Rel.xGF% with close scoring states
Rel.CF%: player impact on team shot attempt share: comparison of team shot attempt share with player on the ice - to team shot attempt share with player off the ice.
iFO%: Player's individual Face Off Win percentage.
DZ break out under pressure: team performance within 10s after player in puck possession in DZ break out under pressure setting
OZ entry with puck possession: team performance within 10s after player entering OZ in puck possession
The Context Profile shows metrics, that describe in which context a player was used.
1-ZSR: Over 50% of shifts start with face off. Of all shifts starting with face offs, ignoring all NZ face offs, what is the share of shift starts in DZ.
TOI.: Percentage of time with player on the ice.
Coaches' trust: Percentage with player on ice with close scoring state.
Quality of competition: aggregate quality of opposition players on the ice - while player on the ice.
Quality of teammates: aggregate quality of own team players on the ice - while player on the ice.
The Offense Profile shows metrics that describe the players offensive values.

All xGF60: Team offensive output with player on ice.
Rel.CF60: player impact on shot attempt volume: comparison of team shot attempt volume with player on the ice - to team shot attempt volume with player off the ice.

Rush xGF60: Team Off the Rush offensive output with player on the ice.
OZ Forecheck xGF60: Team Off the OZ Forecheck offensive output with player on the ice.
OZ Sust Possession xGF60: Team Off Sustained OZ Puck Possession offensive output with player on the ice.
ixG60: player's expected goal production per 60min.
iCF60: player's shot attempt production per 60min.
iSF60: player's on net production per 60min.
iPass: player's pass completion ratio.
The Defense Profile shows metrics that describe the players defensive values.

Career Stats
Season Stats lists the last games in the current season the player played.
If the corresponding video and tags are available, a camera symbol is displayed. You can then watch the corresponding video clips by clicking on the symbol.
Career Overview shows a graphical per season overview. You can choose filters (which league, which season type) to apply and which metrics to show (games played, goals, assists).
Career Stats shows a per season per league overview. When videos and event data is present, you can view clips of specifics events.
The Scouting section displays all scouting activities collected for a specific players. It consists of three components:

Scouting Sheets view shows a graphical overview on collected scouting sheets. By clicking on a metric below the chart, you can hide or show the corresponding metric.
In the table below the chart, already collected sheets can be edited or deleted.
In order to create a new Scouting Sheet, you can click in the "New Scouting Sheet" button.
In the opening dialog, you can chose from different templates (by position) and chose a game, for which the scouting will be.
You can add comments such as notes to record information for a specific player.
All comments are stored with the user who entered the comment together with date and time when it was recorded.
This functionality helps an organisation to keep and share imortant information gathered during the scouting process.
You can upload files in the context of a specific player.

In a Scouting Sheet you can rate a players performance.

By default a template inspired by the NHL central scouting is configured for all organizations. Each organization can request to customize their own template. The following adjustments are supported:
Roles Section: add new or remove existing roles
General: add an overall element such as overall rating
Skills Section
add a new or remove an existing skills category (e.g. Skating)
add a new or remove an existing attribute inside a skills category (e.g. Acceleration)
change the range in which the rating can be made (e.g. 1-5, A-D, no NA allowed)
The Game Header lists the details of the selected game. If video tags are available, camera symbols show, which events can be watched specifically.
The Player Header shows the attributes of the sheet. Further the player facts are displayed.
In the Roles Section you can choose which roles fit with the player.
Here you can add a free text to write down their impression of the player.
In the Skills Section you can rate the players in different categories. Each category has a set of attributes.
